LED Mesh Selection Guide
Selecting LED mesh is not a race for the smallest pitch, highest brightness or highest transparency. The correct system is the one that fits the real building, viewing distance and operating environment.
Seven specifications that matter
| Specification | Project question |
|---|---|
| Pixel pitch | How far away will people actually view the facade? |
| Transparency | How much daylight and outward view must remain? |
| Brightness | Is the facade shaded, behind glass or exposed to direct sun? |
| Weight | Can the complete structure support the mesh, cable and equipment? |
| IP / environment | Will the system face rain, heat, cold, humidity, salt or immersion? |
| Refresh / grayscale | Will the facade be filmed or used for detailed media content? |
| Maintenance | Can technicians reach fixtures, cables, controls and power equipment? |
Pitch, transparency and weight are connected
P50
Higher media density with lower transparency. Useful where image detail and daytime brightness matter.
P80
A middle range balancing image density, openness and lower system weight.
P100
Higher transparency and lower weight for long-distance architectural viewing.
P125+
Very open systems for large landmark or special-environment applications where viewing distances are long.
Use real projects to validate the decision

Dubai · P125 E21
Large extreme-environment media installation with long viewing distance.
Decision sequence
Do not ask which specification is highest. Ask which specification actually changes the outcome of this building.
